Hosted and emceed by KTVU-TV, the night features the lighting of a stunning Shasta Fir—flipped on by Santa Claus himself—followed by not one but twodazzling laser light shows synced to festive, crowd-pleasing holiday music. And for the full winter wonderland experience, get ready: once the lasers fade, snow will magically fall over the Square (yes, real faux snow in Oakland!).

Wander the plaza for selfies with Santa, Frosty, a Christmas Teddy Bear, and a roaming Peppermint Princess, plus enjoy special performances by Oaktown Jazz Workshops and Lyric Performing Arts Academy.
