Ireland’s once-illegal moonshine has a long and fascinating history, but it’s also super delicious! Poitin has made it onto the world stage and today is World Poitin Day! We’re closed on Mondays but if you want to try a tipple or two of this distinctively Irish spirit today, we’d suggest heading to the Chieftain Pub or Casement’s Bar in San Francisco.
